Lucky007 I want to know that is there any possibility to use the default Nginx version as Nginx mainline in wordops?
portofacil You need to compile Nginx by yourself. I use this script by @VirtuBox to achieve this: https://github.com/VirtuBox/nginx-ee
Lucky007 portofacil Thank you for your reply. If I use wo stack remove --nginx and follow VirtuBox Nginx installation instructions everything OK? Do I need to perform more command lines to remove the existing Nginx installation?
portofacil I don't think you need to remove Nginx, the script is smart enough to detect your current environment and sort everything automatically. Make backups and give it a try.
sleeplife Hi there Do you mean this script will install official nginx instead of nginx-wo? my problem: Jitsi-meet ask for nginx while WordOps installed nginx-wo and these two package cant be installed together obviously
portofacil sleeplife It will compile Nginx from source, rather than installing pre-compiled packages. I really don't know how Jitsi will "see" a locally compiled Nginx.
sleeplife portofacil jitsi try to install pre-compiles nginx which ends up to remove nginx-wo and install nginx (nginx from lunchpad repository (not sure)) I also accepted the risk and continued to install nginx by removing nginx-wo but it rans into an error
