so today I was checking the htop of one of my ubuntu box and as soon as I ssh into the server I got a notification new update available for wordops. but I had to reboot the server due to the server load after the reboot when I ssh back into the server the notification was gone 😃 I checked in multiple different Ubuntu/Debian servers did not find similar console notifications.

I don't have the screenshot to prove this but maybe some weird bug? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Yes, several times. Hoping for a non-phantom update soon - I'd like to move to PHP 8 without hacking the server myself.

    I think I was the first one to offer a hack to enable PHP8 in WordOps servers, but I'm not using it because, you know, hacks are great when you have one server to take care, but when you have a bunch of them, you want everything as standardized as possible.

      BTW, it's been two months since Thomas announced he would release a maintenace release and did some code changes in Github.
