wo site create in shell script

I'm trying to automate site creations through a shell script. When I execute wo site create with various options will always prommpt for user name. I've tried providing --user --pass --email with many variations and in each case I get a prompt. When I run the identical wo site create at the command line, it goes about it's business with no issues.

Is there a solution to this? Am I doing something wrong or missing something.

This is an excerpt from my wp-create.sh script:

wo site create "${DOM}" --php80 "--${CACHE}" \
            --user="${USERNAME}" --pass="${PASSWORD}" \
            --email="${EMAIL}" >> "${logFile}" 2>&1

Is it any different from yours?

sudo -u $USERNAME wo site create \'$SITENAME\' --wpfc --php73 --email=\'$EMAIL\' --user=\'$USERNAME\' --pass=\'$PASSWORD\'

I've tried variations with and without sudo, moving parameters around (user/pass/email). Same result. If I run on the command line, no problem.
