Hi there,
I upgrade WO to 3.10.4.
After the upgrade, PHP80 wasn't available. So I did a sudo wo stack install --php80
but it came back with some errors. In the error log I see:
Errors were encountered while processing:
redis-server
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
The same error occurs when I try to install php81
to the stack.
The error does not prevent WO from recording the PHP80 is installed. Same with PHP81. So when I try a second time to run sudo wo stack install --php80
(or php81), it tells me they are already installed.
I note that no PHP80 (or 81) files are installed in the /etc/nginx/common
folder.
I can't upgrade my site to php80 using sudo wo site update SITE.com --php80
. It tells me Nginx configuration test failed. If I run sudo nginx -t
it comes back with,
nginx: [emerg] open() "/etc/nginx/common/wpfc-php80.conf" failed (2: No such file or directory) in /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/DOMAIN.com:17
nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed
I created a /etc/nginx/common/wpfc-php80.conf
by copying the /etc/nginx/common/wpfc-php74.conf
file, and changing the php74 reference to php80. Now when I run sudo nginx -t
I get:
nginx: [emerg] open() "/etc/nginx/common/wpcommon-php80.conf" failed (2: No such file or directory) in /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/DOMAIN.com:19
nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed
Can I simply duplicate all the php74 related files, and edit them to refer to php80
instead of php74? Or are there going to be some important changes in one of more of those files? (in the
/etc/nginx/common` folder).
Any suggestions on how I can get things set up correctly with PHP80 and PHP81?
