Delay in purging cache for FastCGI (NGINX cache)

I have wordOps which comes with FastCGI (NGINX cache) loaded.

I'm using a WordPress page builder called Elementor.

Every time I press the "Purge" button on the NGINX Helper Plugin to flush the entire cache, I still experience a 10-minute delay before my changes on Elementor reflect on the front end.

I've tried incognito mode, flushing the browser cache and every other trick I know.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour before?

Was the site definitely created with the --wpfc option? (wo site info yourdomain.com to double check 'Nginx configuration')
Do you have any other plugins installed that could be caching?
Are the changes in the page content or just css? If css are you using any other plugins to minify/cache css (e.g. Autoptimize)?

Maybe not created with --wpfc option, but it was updated to use --wpfc and wpfc is currently active and working

I have a website-level (called FlyingPress Plugin) optimization plugin (I don use the caching feature of this plugin). Turning off doesn't help

Making simple text changes on the page only.
The only thing that helps is initiating a NGINX cache purge, but there's a 10-minute delay

You cannot turn flying press page cache off anymore for several months now. Page cache is always turned on and the plugin writes to wp-config.php to ensure that it is. You are using server page caching and php page caching. It could be that php page cache isn't being deleted for 10 minutes because of some wp-cron setting that has been set to a 10 minute delay.

I got rid of flying press when they updated it so you could not disable php page cache. Otherwise I would look at the settings for you.

And Nginx Helper settings are set to 'nginx Fastcgi cache'?
There's also some debug options at the bottom of the Nginx Helper settings page which may help narrow down what's happening.

After recompiling, the geo-blocking got deactivated ran the command again, no hint of the Nginx cache module, later I discovered, the command he wrote had a typo. Correct command is

nginx -V 2>&1 | grep ngx_cache_purge -o

The older version before recompiling had the purge module, as well as GeoIP module

is ngx_cache_purge still included in the build? has it been replaced by nginx-cache-purge?

i'm also having some really odd interactions with Elementor/Crocoblock. i'm trying to debug and find others with similar cases. (none so far 😕 )

I would check if Crocoblock modifies Apache .htaccess rules in site root or somewhere else.
