Fail2ban disabled after rebooting server

Hi, I'm having this issue with Fail2ban. Basically, it is disabled every time I reboot the server. When I try to reload it I get:
wo stack reload --fail2ban Reloading fail2ban [KO]
Only upgrading Fail2ban will make it work again, but only without rebooting the server.

Also running status command after reboot gets me this error:

sudo fail2ban-client status 2023-01-10 16:53:55,492 fail2ban [2231]: ERROR Failed to access socket path: /var/run/fail2ban/fail2ban.sock. Is fail2ban running?

Make sure the service is enabled with : sudo systemctl enable fail2ban.service.
