what is .htaccess directory please

Hello,

I just support site is running with Nginx if the site was created by Wordops.

When I try to use Loginizer, it show like this:

.htaccess is writable Yes

I checked the server, but did not found htaccess, anyone would like to let me know what is the directory of htaccess for the site created by Wordops?
