It seem not too hard to add a nginx template to Natively Support Nginx Webp converting.
Usually, using some plugin to achieve supporting webp, but plugins always involving performace.
So, it would be big feature if Wordops support Nginx to coverting Webp.
@VirtuBox, Can we expect please?
