Problems with image redirect

Hello! I wanna redirect 404 image to but i can't find server { } inside nginx configs. Please explain how to redirect 404 images.

wo site edit mysite.com is where the site level server block is.
But I don't understand why you would want to redirect 404's. If files don't exist you want to serve a 404 for them.

Now I understand my problem more clearly 🙂 I got images at https://test.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/This-Is-Image.jpg but server side is https://test.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/this-is-image.jpg. Uppercase letters are not redirecting to lowercase ones. Can you suggest me a right fix for this?

michaellstone123 The right fix is: do not upload images with upper-case or special chars.

Anyway, WordPress should sanitize the file names at upload time. I have no idea why your image names are in unexpected format.

Otherwise, Nginx is very good and flexible, but it's not magical at all.

Perhaps it is magical.

if ($request_uri ~* "[A-Z]") {
    rewrite ^(.*)$ "${uri_lc}" permanent;
}
