I tried to visit https://wordops.net/ and click Chat in top right corner but it looks like https://chat.wordops.net/ is dead, maybe you should just redirect it to the forums instead.

Still dead. What's wrong with community mods? Nav menu on forums has dead chat link. Primary landing page on https://wordops.net/ has dead link to chat as well.
Is the chat community still alive? I visited bot user above but nothing to be found...

Rocket Chat has been inactive for ages, possibly due to a lack of activity. If you want to create a new chat community, you are free to do so on platforms like Discord or Slack
