Hello,
I'm trying to install SSL certificate for WordOps backend, I've managed to properly set up SSL for my site.com as well as server.site.com, but when I go to site.com:22222 or server.site.com:22222 browser shows security warning "Certificate is Not Valid". (WordOps backend is working fine).
I'm using Namecheap DNS and have basic DNS configuration, both site.com and server.site.com are properly connected to my server IP. (Not using Cloudflare)
Those are the steps I made:
Install WordOps
wget -qO wo wops.cc && sudo bash wo
Install WordOps stack
wo stack install
Add the server.site.com to WordOps
wo site create server.site.com -le --force
Add the main site.com to WordOps
wo site create site.com --wpredis -le --force --php83
Everything works fine, I just don't know if it is the right behaviour? or am I doing something wrong? I've seen some tutorials where people install WordOps and they get the same browser warning about SSL when accessing site.com:22222, but I've also seen some tutorials people have proper HTTPS connection without any warnings when accessing WordOps dashboard (I was not able to replicate these tutorials).
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
