Creating a SSL HTTPS website that proxies to a local Lan IP address running only HTTP works great.

But setting up a proxy pointing to a local IP address that is also running HTTPS but on another local machine with a non-standard https port, such as UniFi or Home Assistant doesn’t ever seem to work such as https://unifi.example.com to be the front of https://192.168.1.101:8443

Is It only possible to point to http destinations and not point to HTTPS?
