Error installing WordOps on Debian 12

I'm getting the following response when trying to install wordops on a newly created Debian 12 server. . .

`root@debian-2gb-ash-2:~# wget -qO wo wops.cc && sudo bash wo

Installing WordOps [KO]
Running post-install steps root@debian-2gb-ash-2:~#`

the [KO] parts are red, and I'm not sure why this ends the install script

leaving this post here, but I seem to have figured it out.
I needed to do an apt update and apt upgrade to get the server up to date first
