can not login FTP with root, any suggestion?

Hello,

I just finished install without SSL installation, and set

ufw allow 21
ufw allow 49000:50000/tcp
ufw reload

but I can not login FTP with with Ftp client of transmit:

server: server Ip
username: root
password: pw
port:21

what did I miss please? thanks

it's not possible to login as root via FTP.
You have to create additional users : https://docs.wordops.net/how-to/add-ftp-users/
