apt update hangs on MariaDB repo

I went in and wanted to do an apt update/upgrade on my Vultr VPS with WordOps but don't seem to be able to do it due to some type of error I'm getting from "apt update"

Doing this results in 7 "hits" but then I get an error message that reads. . .

N: Skipping acquire of configured file 'main/binary-ppc64el/Packages' as repository 'http://mariadb.mirrors.ovh.net/MariaDB/repo/10.3/ubuntu disco InRelease' doesn't support architecture 'ppc64el'

is this normal?
doing apt upgrade after this hasn't returned any upgrades to anything in a while (so I can't help to think that I'm missing some security updates to the OS, or something)
