Is there a recommended way to go about editing and saving files into the Wordpress root over SFTP?
I thought perhaps I could simply add my user to the
www-data group, but that hasn't resolved the issue.
I note that I can't use
sudo su www-data command to switch to substitute user
www-data. I get the error,
This account is currently not available. So this also has me stumped when it comes to editing files in the site via command line. Which is also something I commonly do.
