Hello, I currently have a wordpress site, I'm using redis + nginx helper plugin.
I use a server ( OVH - Xeon 2288G + 64GB Memory + 1gbps + 960GB Nvme )
Currently my site has about 5k of simultaneous people browsing.
I don't have any slowdowns, however my netdata shows the server usage 30% all the time.
but when the cache redis is cleared the server reaches 100% utilization. ( This happens at least 12 times a day. )

Nginx: 800 connections
Nginx Requests/sec: 300
Nginx Active Connections by Status: 700 ( writing 60 / idle 640 )
Nginx Connections Rate: accepted 60 / handled 60
Mysql Queries/Sec: 1200
Mysql Query Types: Select 500 / Update 100 / Insert 60
Mysql Connections: 64
Therefore, I have the following doubt, at OVH there are servers with an internal connection of 1gbps between servers. I thought about getting a second server just for mysql.
My doubt is whether it needs to be the same model and power, or does it have to be stronger or weaker?
Need more CORE or More GHZ per Core?
There are these models.
- Xeon-E 2136 - 6 c / 12 t - 3.3 GHz / 4.5 GHz
- Xeon-E 2274G - 4 c / 8 t - 4 GHz / 4.9 GHz
- Xeon E3 1270v6 - 4 c / 8 t - 3.8 GHz / 4.2 GHz
- Xeon-E 2288G - 8 c / 16 t - 3.7 GHz / 5 GHz
- Ryzen 7 3700 PRO - 8 c / 16 t - 3.6 GHz / 4.4 GHz
Thanks for attention of all
