Changing the lifetime of Session Variables

Hi WordsOps users, I am a faily new user to Wordops. I'm looking for a hit as to where to go to successfully increase the time it takes for PHP Session variables to expire.

I usually define session settings in php.ini with following variables:

session.cookie_lifetime: Define how long a session cookie remains valid
session.auto_start: Start a session automatically. This is an alternative to calling session_start() function.
session.save_path: Specify where to store PHP session files. The default is /tmp directory.

As for the location of php.ini, create an info.php file with the following:
<?php phpinfo();
This will give your the location of php.ini for your website. I'm using PHP 7.4 so mine is at /etc/php/7.4/fpm though if you have kept all the WorOps defaults then I suspect your WordPress site will be using PHP 7.3 and you'll find php.ini under /etc/php/7.3/fpm.
