Is your domain under Cloudflare? If so, you need to change port to one of the allowed ones using the command wo secure --port
. It is also necessary you have at least 1 SSL certificate installed on your server and use Cloudflare SSL in Full mode.
If using Cloudflare SSL in Flexible mode, you may update /var/www/22222/conf/nginx/ssl.conf
, adding listeners to a unused HTTP port, for example:
listen 8080;
listen [::]:8080;
then reload nginx with nginx -t && service nginx reload
and connect to http://server.hostname:8080
(you will need to open the port in ufw
, if installed (ufw allow 8080/tcp
).
If you want to use HTTPS communication to the server while using SSL Flexible mode, you will probably need to add your server IP and hostname to the hosts file of your computer so you can connect directly to it (bypassing Cloudflare).
