Today I was installing some updates via apt (same error via wo maintenance) and it failed with the following errors:

Setting up php7.2-fpm (7.2.27-2+ubuntu18.04.1+deb.sury.org+1) ...

On my server the /run/php/php7.x-fpm.sock are called php7x-fpm.sock.

root@server:/run/php# ls
php-fpm.sock    php7.3-fpm.pid  php72-fpm.sock      php73-fpm.sock      php74-fpm.sock
php7.2-fpm.pid  php7.4-fpm.pid  php72-two-fpm.sock  php73-two-fpm.sock  php74-two-fpm.sock

Any ideas how to fix this?
