Site not showing in my laptop => Localhost

Hello community, how are you doing?

So I have a laptop with ubuntu 18.04 Lts for development and learning.

I did the installation of WordOps as the link below:

All steps were performed successfully.

I was also able to create the site with the command wo site create programadorweb.tld.

But when opening on my machine the same does not run, I would like to run locally on my machine. It is possible? If not is there any other possibility?

Hello rodrigo_mct,
yes it's possible, you will just have to edit your hosts file (/etc/hosts) and to add the following lines :

127.0.0.1 programadorweb.tld
127.0.0.1 www.programadorweb.tld

This way, you will be able to access to your site directly with the address programadorweb.tld.
Otherwise, you can still create sites using your local IP like wo site create 192.168.1.50 --wp and access it via http://192.168.1.50.

WordOps is not for local WordPress (If am not wrong), installations. If you are a Linux user, the easiest way is to install XAMPP for developing and test purposes

Thanks so much for your response, but by editing the hosts file as directed and then accessing the url it is directing me to the WordOps Dashboard.
