@VirtuBox I understand that, however, how do I know before hand if there is anything to upgrade? Would help me plan when to do an upgrade if I need to do one. I don't know if I need to do an upgrade until I perform that command, and even then, I don't know until after it's completed the upgrade.
What I'm asking, is if there's a way to do a "preview" or "dryrun" to see what would upgrade, if I need to upgrade at all.
Think of it like...
apt-get dist-upgrade
then it tells you what needs to be upgraded and if you would like to proceed or not.
