If you access the HTTP (not HTTPS) version of your SSL site, you can't get rid of first redirect.
You can avoid the second redirect editing /etc/nginx/conf.d/force-ssl-example.com
; take a look at it and you'll see where the redirection from HTTP to HTTPS occurs; just add your www.
prefix there and reload Nginx:
nginx -t
service nginx reload
The first command (nginx -t
) will just test the configuration files, and warn you in case of some typo or other error.
