I too am looking for instructions on how to use a cookieless domain to serve static content in Wordpress under WordOps.
Specifically, how does WordOps know where to send requests for the static content?
Let me give a couple of real-world examples I have on my desk in the Philippines.
Project One: yeshua.asia
Domains:
www.yeshua.asia - site one / the main website
static-1.yeshua.asia - the cookieless domain for static content / main site -
music.yeshua.asia - the second site
static-2.yeshua.asia - the cookieless domain for static content / 2nd site
Notes:
- I assume I need to create Two WordOps Sites.
a) www.yeshua.asia
b) music.yeshua.asia
- DNS is no problem for me (Insignificant).
- I understand the WP changes (Did them in Apache on a different project).
In Apache, there were .htaccess changes.
- I will want yeshua.asia to 301 to www.yeshua.asia (Any advice? Appreciated!)
- Both sites will use HTTPS Let's Encrypt (Insignificant).
- How is WordOps configured to send requests for static-2.yeshua.asia to the directory where music.yeshua.asia is located?
Project Two: tait.asia
Domains:
tait.asia - the main website
tait-static.s143.net - the cookieless domain
Notes:
- www.tait.asia should 301 to tait.asia
- DNS is no problem for me (Insignificant).
- The site will use HTTPS Let's Encrypt (Insignificant).
- How is WordOps configured to send requests for tait-static.s143.net to the directory where tait.asia is located?
Additional Insignificant Info:
- Running on Linode
- Running on the latest Ubuntu LTS
- In the past, I have been Admin for over 30,000 WP Sites.
- Now old and retired, I Admin 176 sites I am working to turn over to my grandkids and great-grandkids after conversion to WordOps.
- I have three sites working under WordOps.
- I'm proud to be in a family of five generations of Airplane Pilots, including my grandfather, father, cousin, myself, my son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter!
- I've been hacking code for over 53 years.
- I worked for DARPA when it was ARPA on ARPANET before it was called the Internet.

- I am a dinosaur with white hair and a tiny white dog.
