Unable to issue SSL Cert

I have installed wordops on vps.domain.com i was able to issue SSL onto vps.domain:22222 (backend), but when i try to install a WP site on vps.domian.com with ssl however it does install WP and says

Congratulations! Successfully Configured SSL on https://vps.domain.com
Your cert will expire within 86 days.

but unable to access the site, when i do so it says

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

I tried to wo site update site.tld --letsencrypt=clean which cleanup the SSL cert, and then i was able to access the site without SSL.

Any possible issue?

Is port 443 open on your VPS?

jond1 yeah it was open, unfortunately i found that issue with iptables, flushing it worked
